Scheduling, Fees, & Practice Policies

I aim to practice transparency and collaboration in all aspects of our work together. The information below is intended to support informed choice and mutual clarity from the beginning.

Please make sure to read the following information in full before scheduling an Appointment:

Fees:

  • Initial 20 minute consultation is free for all services.  Free consultations are online only.
  • If we mutually decide to move forward in our work together after the initial consult, you will be sent intake paperwork which must be completed before our first paid session.
  • My standard fees are:
    • $185 in-person/$170 online per 50-minute individual session
    • $240 in-person/$220 online per 90-minute dyad session
    • $330 in-person/$310 online per 90-minute group session
  • For those who need it, I offer a sliding scale down to a minimum of:
    • $135 in-person/$120 online per 50-minute individual sessio
    • $180 in-person/$160 online per 90-minute dyad session
    • $230 in-person/$210 online per 90-minute group session
  • Not sure what amount to pay? Go here for guidance. The sliding scale guide is in reference to my course fees, but can be clarifying and generative when thinking about what to pay for any services offered at a sliding scale, here or elsewhere.
  • Fees are due at the time services are rendered.
  • My rates increase by $10 every two years on January 1st of odd-numbered years. This allows me to keep pace with the evolving costs of maintaining my practice while continuing to offer high-quality care.
  • Extended sessions, mediation, reparative processes, and trainings may exceed standard session lengths. Any additional time will be prorated in 15-minute increments based on your selected rate.

Insurance:

  • I accept Colorado Medicaid; however, my Medicaid slots are currently full. I maintain a waitlist for Medicaid clients—please reach out if you’d like to be added.
  • I do not accept other commercial insurance. This allows for greater privacy, removes the requirement for a diagnosis, and supports more flexibility in our work together.
  • If we are working together in a therapeutic (not coaching) capacity, you may request a superbill for potential reimbursement.

Documentation and Use of AI-Assisted Notes:

  • I utilize HIPAA-compliant, AI-assisted documentation to support my clinical note-taking process across all sessions (both in-person and online). This significantly reduces the amount of administrative time I spend outside of sessions, allowing me to be more present, resourced, and focused in our work together.
  • No identifying or personal information (such as names, locations, or details that could be used to identify you) is ever included in what is shared with these tools.
  • Because this is an integral part of how I sustainably maintain my practice and support my capacity as a therapist, comfort with this approach is a requirement for working together.
  • I recognize that this approach may not feel aligned for everyone, and I fully support you in finding a provider whose practices feel like the best fit for your needs.

Session Formats & Availability:

  • Telehealth/Online sessions:
    • Offered: Tuesday & Thursday, 9 am- 5 pm MST.
    • I use Zoom for all consultations and telehealth sessions. You will automatically receive a secure link when your appointment is scheduled.
  • In-Person sessions:
    • Offered in Central Boulder, Monday & Friday from 9:30 am – 5 pm MST.
    • When scheduling an in-person session, please await one additional confirmation email from me after receiving the auto-confirmation email that is sent upon booking. As I conduct in-person sessions from a shared office, in-person sessions require a small amount of additional coordination. The 2nd confirmation email I send will include door codes for the restrooms on site.
    • Parking is available for free on-site.
    • It is sometimes an option for me to drive to your location for in-person group sessions/trainings.  I bill 1/3 of your selected hourly rate for my travel time.

Time Zone Note:  The scheduling system I use (below) automatically accommodates for time zone differences, ensuring you don’t need to manually convert appointment times. While I am based in Mountain Standard Time (MST), the system will automatically adjust your appointment to reflect your local time zone. Rest assured, both parties will receive a confirmation email displaying the correct time, respective to our individual time zones.
